As the core component of Asia's largest single-capacity 4GW wind-solar hybrid project in Nileke, Xinjiang, this project has achieved a groundbreaking technological milestone. Self-synchronous voltage source grid-connection technology, originally developed for wind power, has been successfully applied to photovoltaic scenarios. This achievement establishes a complete "wind-solar" dominant power station technology matrix, realizing full-chain implementation from theoretical conception to engineering application.
The innovative "pasture-photovoltaic complementary" model generates over 300 million kWh of electricity annually. Its "power generation above panels, sand fixation and grass planting below panels" design not only creates ecological barriers aiding grassland restoration but also increases grass yield by 40%. This project delivers dual benefits of green energy revenue and enhanced livestock income for local communities.
