The core challenge of this project lies in addressing the severe impacts of low atmospheric pressure, strong ultraviolet radiation, and extreme temperature variations unique to high-altitude areas on the stability of power equipment. To tackle this, the project innovatively adopts Hopewind's 35kV direct-hanging outdoor water-cooled SVG equipment, specifically designed for harsh environments. With its exceptional heat dissipation performance and high-altitude adaptability, the equipment successfully overcomes electrical insulation and heat dissipation challenges on the plateau, providing precise dynamic reactive power compensation and voltage support for the power station. This not only ensures the efficient and stable output of the plant's 200MW capacity but also significantly enhances the absorption capacity and operational security of the weak links in the Tibet power grid for large-scale new energy integration.
