The total installed capacity of the H3 project is 400 megawatts. It installs 80 large megawatt offshore wind turbines and is equipped with 79 Hopewind 5MW full-power converters and 1 Hopewind 6.25MW full-power domesticized converter.

This project installs the first domestic large-scale offshore wind turbine in China and is equipped with a domesticized converter from Hopewind, realizing 100% domestic production of first-level components. The localization rate of all component-level parts exceeds 95%. It breaks the technological monopoly and blockade of foreign countries and is of great significance for realizing the localization of the entire industrial chain of offshore wind power and the parity of offshore wind power. This project achieved full-capacity grid connection on August 1, 2021. It has a high power generation on the grid and significant benefits in energy conservation and emission reduction.
