The first unit of the Ninh Thuan Chanh Thang Wind Power Project in Vietnam passed the acceptance inspection of the Vietnam national grid in May 2021 and was successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The project is located in Phuoc Huu commune in the central part of Ninh Thuan Province, Vietnam. It is designed to install 16 Yunda 3.xMW units (with a total installed capacity of 49.8MW), and all of them adopt Hopewind Electric's compact doubly - fed converters.

The converters have the characteristics of strong environmental adaptability, high grid adaptability, high power density, and high stability. They effectively cope with the hot and humid climate and the coastal acid - base environment in Vietnam, providing stable operating efficiency for wind turbine units.
