This wind farm started to be put into operation in 2014. Dozens of wind power converters of a certain brand are used in this wind turbine unit, with a single-unit capacity of more than 4MW. In recent years, as the operating years increase, the number of converter failures also increases, bringing operation and maintenance troubles and high costs to the wind farm and seriously affecting the production capacity of the wind farm. After many investigations, the owner chose the HWACS880 power module replacement scheme provided by Hopewind Electric to solve the on-site operation and maintenance problems. At present, this project has completed a number of tests and verification work. The prototype has been connected to the grid in September 2023 and has been operating efficiently and stably without failures so far, fully verifying the feasibility of the product scheme. Subsequently, Hopewind Electric will provide sufficient spare parts sources for it, providing a backing guarantee for the stable operation of this wind farm.
