Aksu, Xinjiang – 250MW/1000MWh PV + Storage Project
2025-11-07

Time: 2025
Location: Aksu, Xinjiang

This project is located in the Aksu region of Xinjiang, near the edge of the Taklamakan Desert, also known as the "Sea of Death." The area features a typical Gobi environment, blessed with natural advantages such as flat terrain, prolonged sunlight, and intense solar radiation. However, it also faces harsh natural challenges: extreme heat in summer and frequent sandstorms during windy seasons, which can darken the sky.

In this project, Hopewind's PCS (Power Conversion System) adopts IP66 protection and C4-level anti-corrosion, ensuring long-term reliability despite sandstorms and drastic temperature fluctuations. The system is equipped with an intelligent air-cooling system and a two-phase heat exchange system, enabling stable operation within a wide temperature range of -40°C to 60°C without derating at 45°C. Additionally, its dual-airflow design completely isolates internal and external air channels, effectively blocking sand and dust while maintaining optimal heat dissipation efficiency.
