Time: March 2024.
Location: Hami, Xinjiang.
The first wind power storage integrated project with the largest single-scale in Xinjiang and the first new energy project with cross-regional access in Xinjiang - the first wind turbine of the Hami Shisanjianfang one-million-kilowatt wind power storage integrated project was successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The project covers an area of about 231 square kilometers and installs 150 6.7MW wind turbines, all of which use Hopewind wind power converters. The project adheres to local access and efficient use, breaks regional boundaries, and completes green power access across Hami and Turpan, providing a useful demonstration for innovating the grid access mode. After the project is officially put into operation, it can contribute about 3 billion kWh of clean electricity annually, equivalent to saving about 900,000 tons of standard coal annually.
