In 2018, the Progreso Wind Farm on the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico successfully passed the low-voltage ride-through test. There are a total of 28 2.5MW doubly-fed wind turbine units on the project site, all of which use Hopewind's 2.5MW doubly-fed water-cooled converter. Since being connected to the grid, the converter of the unit has been operating stably, and the failure rate of the unit is zero. Hopewind's converter has been highly recognized by customers and owners for its high efficiency and low failure rate.
