This project has 33 sets of 1.5MW doubly-fed converter units, which use foreign brand A converters. As the service life increases, problems such as failure of low-voltage ride-through components and filter capacitors, and overheating of the converter gradually emerge, and it does not meet the newly issued grid connection requirements. According to customer needs, Hopewind has proposed a low-cost partial renovation scheme, replacing the core control components with Hopewind control components, removing the original Crowbar components, adding Chopper components, optimizing the filter components, optimizing the soft start circuit, and optimizing the heat dissipation fan circuit. After the technical renovation, it meets the latest high-voltage ride-through requirements of the power grid, and the failure rate is greatly reduced.
