In December 2018, at the Bayinhanggai Wind Farm in Urad Middle Banner, Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolia of State Grid Shandong Electric Power Company, all 15 converters were replaced with Hopewind's 1.5MW full-power converters and successfully connected to the grid for power generation. This renovation is Hopewind's first renovation project to move the converter from the nacelle to the tower base, which involves multiple parts such as the tower base platform, conductive rails, tower barrel stairs, renovation of power cables in the nacelle, and addition of a new water cooling system. The on-site renovation personnel of Hopewind successfully completed the renovation work with guaranteed quality and quantity. After the renovation, the wind turbine operates stably and has been highly affirmed by the owner and the whole machine manufacturer.
